This policy explains what Liquidiam collects, why, and what you can do about it. Liquidiam is a multiplayer trading game. You compete against other players using simulated market data — you are never buying or selling real financial instruments, and nothing here is investment advice.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Liquidiam is operated by Andrew O'Toole, based in Ireland. Under data protection law this makes us the "data controller" — the party responsible for how your information is handled.

2. What we collect

Payments
The shop sells cosmetic items for real money. Payments are handled by Stripe, a regulated payment provider. The card fields you type into are served by Stripe, not by us — we never see or store your card number.
We keep a record of what you bought and when, so we can deliver the item, answer refund requests and meet our accounting obligations. Stripe also sends you a receipt. Stripe holds your payment details under its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/privacy.
3. How your data is protected
- Your profile is encrypted while stored, not held as readable text.
- It is filed under a scrambled version of your email rather than the email itself.
- Passwords are put through a deliberately slow scrambling process with a unique value per account, which is the standard defence against bulk password cracking.
- All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit.
4. Who else is involved
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. A small number of service providers process data strictly on our instructions so the game can function:

These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to investigate cheating, fraud or abuse.
5. What is stored on your own device
Liquidiam uses your browser's local storage — not advertising cookies — to remember your username, your avatar, your wallet display, and settings such as whether vibration is switched on. This stays on your device, is not transmitted to us for tracking, and clearing your browser data removes it.
6. How long we keep it
- Account details: until you ask us to delete them.
- Match history and ratings: kept while your account is active, so leaderboards and ratings stay meaningful.
- Technical logs: a short period, then discarded.
Deleting your account removes your profile and detaches your results from you.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Give you a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your account and data
- Transfer your data to you in a portable format
- Restrict or object to how we use it

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Ireland this is the Data Protection Commission.
8. Age requirement
Liquidiam is for players aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a younger child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it. Any competition with a paid entry fee will be restricted to over-18s.
9. Availability by region
Some features are not offered in every territory, and access may be restricted based on the country your connection appears to come from. Attempting to disguise your location to get around this is not permitted.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For anything significant — such as introducing real payments — we will tell you in the game before it takes effect.
